You will be joining our Amsterdam office where hybrid working environments are supported.  Our systems play an essential role in everything we do in the clearing and risk management domain. That is why we continuously work towards robust IT Service Management processes and tools. Together we ensure availability of reliable, high performing systems and applications.
The position that we want to fill is part of the IT Control & Service Management team (ITC&SM), which also liaises with global counterparts. 

 

Job overview:
As Event Manager for our IT Service Management team, you design and deploy the Event Management module/process in the IT Service Management tool. Together with your team you deliver value to the business partners, aiming for stakeholder satisfaction.

 

Job responsibilities:

 

Analyse our current setup and use of the IT Service Management tool.
Analyse our application landscape and infrastructure environment to be able to give an advise to the Clearing organization on how an implemented IT Event management  process (supported via Event Mngt solution of the IT Service Management tool) can bring additional value to the organisation.
Create a design of the IT Event process.
Implement the design in the Event Mngt solution using the IT Service Management Event tool.
Make the IT Event tool operational.
Hand-over the implemented solution to the IT Service Management team.
Responsible for management reporting about work in progress
Collaboration and cooperation with IT teams and individuals across the globe on various initiative, projects and tasks.

 

 

Requirements

Relevant knowledge & desired education level:

 

Must: Demonstrable experience with advising about, guiding, designing and implementing IT Event processing in a financial environment.
Must: Demonstrable experience with the use of the Event module of the IT Service Management tool (ServiceNow).
(IT related) bachelor’s / baster’s degree or equivalent degree / experience.
Relevant knowledge on IT Service Management tools and processes.
Experience in design and deployment of Event Management process
ITIL v4 certification preferred.
Knowledge of NIST framework preferred.
7 to 10 years of working experience in an IT environment.
Minimum of 3 years of implementation experience of IT event management within an organisation.
