Azure DevOps Engineer Cybersecurity

Assignment context and description of activities

You will be an IT DevOps Engineer in the Security Monitoring & Incident Response team that is part of the CISO (Corporate Information Security Office) Cyber Defense department. This role requires extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud, automation and scripting and containers. You will work together with the Security Operating Center (SOC) and the application teams of ABN AMRO.  This requires communication skills and the ability to interact with different stakeholders within and outside the Cyber Defense department. The main focus of the job will be to enable application teams to on-board their security logs to ABN AMRO’s SIEM solution and ensure a high quality of security logging throughout the engagement.
  
With the following results (SMART)

As part of the assignment, you’ll deliver and maintain an overview of all applications (>700) and stakeholders (>200) with their relevant security logs including status by September 2024. This administration then needs to be automated including its inputs together with the existing devops team supporting our on-boarding API and other automations to ensure completeness and quality over time by September 2025.

Must have:

Good understanding and experience working with the Azure Cloud
Good understanding of building and using Azure DevOps CICD pipelines
Good scripting capabilities in Python
Good understanding and experience with building and running containers
Good communications skills, ability to reach an agreement on requirements and solutions in communications with stakeholders at different levels of the organization
An EU working permit is required for this position.
